About IQAC

WTC College, Phaltan established in June 1957, was first accredited by NAAC in 2003-04 with B+ grade (2.75). As per the guidelines from NAAC; the college formed Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) on 8th July 2004 with the motto of quality sustenance and quality enhancement of all activities in the college. Since inception, the IQAC has been playing the pivotal role in overall functioning of the college. It attempted to uphold and institutionalize certain quality measures. It also prepared the AQARs and the SSR for the second cycle of accreditation. The college was awarded B grade (CGPA 2.85) in reaccreditation in 2011-12.The IQAC was reformed as per NAAC guidelines in due course of time. It also received funding of Rs. 3, 00,000/- from UGC in the XII th plan. For the academic years 2015-16 and 2016-17, the IQAC consists of 15 members who contribute under the chairmanship of the Principal Dr. S.P.Rasal. It includes representatives of all stakeholders of the HEI. Hon. Shrimant Sanjeevraje Naik Nimbalkar, Secretary, Phaltan Education Society is the Management Member of this cell. In the first meeting of IQAC which generally takes place in the beginning of every academic year, a comprehensive academic calendar covering all activities of the institution have been discussed, chalked out and finalized. They are in line with the vision and mission of the institute as well as of the core values of NAAC and higher education in India. The action plan is later on implemented by all, through different working committees formed by IQAC. The final outcome of every committee has been supervised, analyzed and assessed by IQAC.
